We use these gates on our stairs as we have a wide stair gap and also we’re looking for no bar four to safety. These are easy to install on the wall mounts and we like that they’re adjustable for different size gaps. Also feel like it will outlive our toddler shaking them and they’re nice and sturdy. Feels very safe for top of stairs.

Needed a much larger than normal Baby Gate as the entrance to our stair case is much wider than your average. This seemed to be a good option. It was straight forward to put together, you asses the width and fix the two panels together. Then insert each of the bolts into the correct place on the frame and tighten - these are your locating bolts that fix to the brackets on the wall. I then offered up the pivot side first, side B I think - approx where needed to get a rough idea - using the template which was great, I stuck this to the wall with some masking tape making sure it was aligned and then drilled my first 4 holes. I fixed the brackets on the wall and then stuck the gate onto the brackets so it could swing both ways. I line up on the other wall the other brackets, I used the top bracket to see where I would need to drill and then used this mark to set up the template for this side, taped and drilled and fixed to the wall. Some adjustment will be needed when locating the fixed brackets, but this is simply to do by hand screwing the bolt in or out slightly, and then use the spanner included to secure the locking nut. Job took about 20-30 mins by myself to complete. The little man loves it, its now something for him to help pull himself up with - he is only 9 months, but is crawling around and has attempted to climb the stairs on several occassions, so this was much needed. To use I did fine you needed two hands, one to release the catch and the other to swing the frame - But I think this is due to the frame being almost fully extended, my parents brought 2 for their house and as they only have it slightly extended it was easier to open and close with one hand. However, after a few days use, the one handed operation does seem to work for me and my wife. IT works well, it strongly made, I done see it coming down anytime soon - of course use the best plugs and screws for the wall your fixing too, I used the Reds with Different Screws than provided but I know it will hold. All in all, very please, we will actually be buying another 2 for other areas in the house - wanted to try one first to see how it goes.

Really like this, we’re in the middle of renovating our kitchen and one of our twins has just started crawling RAPIDLY and keeps trying to follow me to the kitchen 😂 our house is mostly a rustic type decor so I wanted a wooden gate. The gap is 100cm for the kitchen ‘’door’ and it fits perfectly. No big gaps in the middle or sides, looks great, very sturdy x

I like these stair gates. They looks really classy and have no bottom bar to trip over. The 4 small screw holes cause an awful lot less damage than the pressure ones that scratch the heck out of the paintwork. Once you get the hang of the mechanism they are easy to use one handed. And it took my daughter until she was nearly 4 to master opening it herself.

Dieses Gitter ist genauso wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben. Es ist sehr stabil. Es rutscht nicht aus der Halterung. Selbst wenn beide Kinder (2 Jahre, und 6 Jahre) fest daran rütteln. Und das...machen Sie täglich! Es hält gut um Rahmen und lässt sich einfach öffnen. Es verrutscht nicht. Der Preis ist eigentlich auch in Ordnung. Da für Gute Qualität gerne auch mal ein paar Euro mehr sein dürfen. Die Befestigung ist zu zweit ein Kinderspiel. Alleine sicherlich etwas umständlicher aber auch machbar.
