The stair gate works really well although can prove a little fiddly for one person to put together alone due to needing to try and tighten both ends simultaneously so it doesn’t fall. Overall the product provides a nice sturdy barrier and so far appears to give peace of mind and safety to my daughter. Really easy to open and the built in safety catch means that as my daughter gets older she still won’t be able to open without assistance

I needed to buy two gates to contain my dog after her operation- the fitting on the stairs was never going to be easy because of the skirtings and posts but as this is a temporary fix then for the price they work extremely well . Other gate fitted in the doorway perfectly. Easy to put up .

This is Ok but isn't a sturdy gate system. If you are using for a dog gate this is not suitable for a medium to large dog if they are likely to stand up on it. The extensions are not very sturdy and if your opening is too small for the 2nd extension piece then you end up having the fixing bolts quite long which makes it less rigid as well. Its not really very adjustable to an opening width. Guess given the price its to be expected

All the 5 star reviews are from people who, luckily for them, have their gates opening the correct way. Should any of them in the future require their gate to be flipped then they're in for some disappointment. It's quite astonishing that the manufacturer has designed it so the bottom catch is flippable but then decided to make the most main top latch so you can not do so. I've bought four of these things, three are luckily the correct way for me but I've had to modify one. Truly ridiculous design! I will say the photo in the reviews from someone who has it laying on their floor and saying it doesn't line up should probably look at the 75 giant stickers that say it's not a fault and it will line up in the door frame. Thanks to people like them the rest of us are spending an hour peeling the label off while wondering who would be so stupid to require that warning label!

The media could not be loaded. I've been looking for a gate to block my puppies so they can't go near the front door, got tired to shooing them. Looked everywhere, Amazon had the best pricing & reviews (with videos). 📦: very sturdy with lots of foams & shipping was quick (no prime) Product: good metal quality, lock functionality, easy to use, fits. White blends in with my house. My hallway area is 48.5" wide & this gate extemds to 49"W which is perfect. Pricing: average, paid $55 Installation: a bit confusing but not hard level. Trying to figure which gate pieces matches up then when I pressure mounted to the wall, closing that gap where the latch is was took a few minutes. In the end it worked out. Overall I would recommend!

This was the perfect gate I needed for my kitchen to stop my toddler from walking into the kitchen when I'm cooking. It was hard for me to find the right size for my entrance into the kitchen because all the other gates I saw were all too short (probably for hallways or stairways). But this one was perfect! Super easy to install, which means, if there ever needs to be a change, it can easily be done! This gate is also so sturdy because my toddler usually hangs on it and shakes it when he's wanting me to come to him while I'm busy cooking. The color black is also so much better than all the other white ones out there! Strongly recommend!!
