I’m really gutted as I hoped this would work brilliantly to section off my open plan living area and kitchen. It does section it off however I’m in a rented place so had to do it with the sticky pads supplied instead of the screws. All my year and a half year old has to do is put pressure on the top of it when in a locked position and it retracts even when on the lock and the part that holds it has come of the wall I have used 4 of the stickers now for the same place but it keeps coming off. I thought this would be good but my daughter just has to press a little and it’s broken and also retracts when in a locked position.

Such an awful product was really excited to use but no absolute rubbish. Has ripped half the wallpaper off my baby room walls during installation even after following the instructions perfectly. Mesh didn’t retract well- got all crinkled and stayed creased. Avoid like the plague, returning for refund tomorrow.
