This sturdy, versatile dog gate is ideal for awkwardly-shaped doorways/ stairways or anywhere that a conventional gate or barrier cannot be fitted. Best of all, it can be folded up / taken all over the house as it's freestanding. I really like the strength & versatility of this gate, as it can be folded or expanded to fit most configurations to form an effective barrier which will keep your dog where you want him/her. My only negative is that it came unassembled (not sure why, since it would have taken up the same amount of packaged space folded?) with poor unclear assembly instructions. The hinges & screws are supplied though and the quality is ok. Even though I'm experienced with flatpacks, I still managed to assemble this the wrong way round the 1st time and had to redo it which was a bit of a pain!

This item looked great when I took it out of the box on the 29th September. I put it together and placed it at the bottom of my stairs to prevent my small cockapoo pup going upstairs. After two days the bottom panel started to split. Yesterday my son stepped over it and caught it with his foot and the middle section fell apart. This product is cheap mdf not wood and certainly not worth the money. Now I only have two panels which does not prevent my pup getting up the stairs. I would not recommend as it is not fit for purpose. When contacting the seller for a refund I was advised they don’t cover damage by humans! We have only used it as intended so I am very unhappy with this response.

Bought this as I had already ordered one which I was happy with however this one fell apart no or very little glue used so when you tried to move it it all came to pieces. Luckily I had wood glue in the house and was able to repair it. Not what you would expect from a new purchase. But that said they are extremely portable and look good. Just wish they would take more care with assembly.
