Firstly Product is really good quality. However ensuring that the gate you buy actually fits is almost impossible. My gate did not fit the holes in this product and given it was made to EU standards I would guess a lot of gates will not. I had to file down the plastic width adjusters, which took some considerable time. You could not do this if they were metal. Once modified I am more than happy with this product.

I rarely write reviews but was so appalled at this item I felt I had to. Maybe it’s me, but I thought child safety gates were a standard size? I could not get the round ends of the gate into the holes in this item as the holes were too small. I couldn’t be bothered to return them so I rested the ends of the gate over the holes in the gate protectors. NOT a job that’s easily done by just one person! I ended up only being able to use 3 of them as there was not enough room for 4. My door is a standard one. If they had worked as they should I would be giving a five star review. In reality they get a 1 star review. I definitely would not recommend.

Just what I was looking for! Works great. Our toddler kept using her strength to push down the baby gate and get it off of the wall. Glad to say she cannot do that anymore with this product. It worked so well, she stopped trying altogether. Perfect for helping keep little ones safe!

Ça fait presque un an que la barrière que nous avions installée pour l'escalier n'arrêtait pas de bouger et que nous devions la remettre en place très souvent. I bought these to replace the original ones on a child proof gate. The are much more secure and sit nicely against the wall, without having to use 2 sided tape. I was actually very happy with the first lot I bought and have just bought a second lot for another child proof gate. They are perfect on my single gate, both top and bottom. However on my extended gate I wasn't able to use them on the bottom. This was through no fault of the wall protectors, but because it is not a standard door and has a skirting board which runs around the bottom. Due to that I have these protectors on the top section and the original disks on the bottom section.
