This is brilliant. Having a newborn baby and an excitable labradoodle, we needed extra tall baby gates to segregate parts of our house. Normal baby gates just wouldn’t cut-it, our labradoodle could easily jump them. These are perfect, they add the height we need and the black colour makes them look so much more stylish in our home then the standard white babygates. Super easy to fit and very sturdy. We love that it has a ‘stay-open’ feature. Make sure to check your door width, we live in an old house and our door frame is slightly larger, they’re fine as we paired them with rubber protectors which add a cm or two. You can buy extra widths to add on if needed, we may need these for our staircase when baby starts to move around.

Finally a gate that don't have the bolt parts sticking out at max. The extension part that adds to the gate makes it safe and looks much better. The bolts are extended a little. My door was 84cm. Easy to install.

Bought this as description suggested you can install with tension and without screws. That's partially true but the tension only goes so far, I've already had to screw the bottom of the gate into the skirting boards and I think I'll need to screw the top ones in as the kids grow - I can't see the tension being strong enough - it already moves slightly. Gate is good quality though, I like the auto close feature meaning you don't need to close it to yourself when carrying a little one up the stairs

These baby gates don't stay open at anything less than a 135 degree opened-angle! Which means if they are placed in a doorway with an existing door in situ which opens against a wall, the babygates will not stay open at just a 90 degree angle. If you want the gate to stay open then it will only work in a doorway which will allow the gate to swing open to about a 135 degree angle. I bought 4 and will sadly now have to return 3 of them. A real shame this was not described in the product details, otherwise I could have saved myself an awful lot of wasted time. Other than that these gates were lovely.

Bonne barrière qui fait son taf. Facile d'utilisation et le montage est très simple. Pour ma part je l'ai fixé en haut d'un escalier où il n'y a qu'un mur et l'autre côté c'est la rambarde en bois. Ça tient très bien. Je ne l'ai pas mis à même le sol car j'ai une grosse barre de seuil en aluminium qui ne le permet pas, elle est donc à moins de 10 cm du sol et elle est stable et tient très bien.

Compré esta barrera para poner en la escalera por mi sobrino. El montaje es bastante fácil, eso sí, hay que tener un poco de paciencia para colocarla si es en un sitio complicado (en mi caso entre la pared y la barra de hierro de la barandilla al final de la escalera, justo en el centro del segundo escalón que sube). Es bastante útil que lleve esos círculos negros para poder ajustar mejor los extremos de la barrera en la superficie. Lleva casi un año entero y, a parte de la posición donde se encuentra, ha cumplido su función sin ninguna dificultad. Y, he de añadir, que mi sobrino se agarra a la barandilla y la zarandea como un preso dentro de su celda. Tiene un mecanismo bastante simple de apertura (tirar para un lado la pestaña mientras levantas levemente la puerta de la barreta). No sirve si la barrera no está bien puesta, y es bastante útil porque, aunque un niño vea que mueves la pestaña, no sabe que está también levantando la puerta y, aunque intente hacer lo mismo que tú, no la puede conseguir abrir (estoy hablando por experiencia, mi sobrino la sabe cerrar pero aún no la ha conseguido abrir). En resumen, una muy buena compra.
