Bought this to try stop my dog goingupdtair and for safety when grandchildren come, had no missing parts, was stable, it fit perfectly, so easy to set up, but wasn't stable enough to stop the dog literally lasted 30mins before he ran through it and snapped the stability bars, so it was a fail for pets side for us

I only purchased this as a stop gap to stop my newly spayed dog from racing up the stairs. It served its purpose but is not very robust. I actually used picture hooks to hang it as the supplied fastenings would have done more damage to my walls and nail holes fill in easily. It worked so no complaints.

I read through the instructions and put the gate up correctly but it didn't stop my dog from pulling it off the door hinges. Not worth the price and is definitely not strong.

easy to install but My 14 month granddaughter ripped the black tie completely off within ten minutes! It was fitted correctly and taught , however she pulled it and that was that as never underestimate they are strong 🙈 so good job it wasn’t expensive! I think i will have to buy an expensive one now as you get what you pay for

Absolutely useless. Bought to keep a staffy lab puppy out of the kitchen. My 1 brain cell orange cat took it down in 10 seconds. Do not bother if you want to actually keep animals or children out of a room. If you have an animal which shares a brain cell with about 100 others you might get away with it. But not if they are orange.

I got this so my cat can come and go from my bedroom but the dogs cannot come in. Works great for that! It was bigger than my regular door frame and there’s adjacent walls next to the door so looks a little funky but still works! My mistake for not measuring 😋

This gate is looks better than most gates I have seen. I don't think it would hold up well to large dogs or very small animals. It is rather difficult to get the bottom close to the ground which leaves a gap that some animals may be able to get under. My dog was able to slide under the bottom so we moved the bottom hooks on to the floor which still left a gap that my cat is able to get through. Install is super easy but I recommend having an extra set of hands to at least hold the other side up as you want to make sure it is as taunt as possible. I liked it enough that I ordered a second one.

I purchased this as a deterrent for my toddler granddaughters while preparing lunch in the kitchen. These little girls are more active than any puppy!!! As a grandmother, I try to have as much fun as possible with the kiddos as I babysit for my daughter. The apartment has an open floorplan and I did not feel comfortable with them coming into the kitchen. Initially, we installed a gate; however, once my granddaughter said I was "locking her out," I decided I no longer liked the gates and took a gentler approach to keeping them safe.
